From the Organizer
TIME: Start at 8:00 AM. Arrive early to check in, mingle with our sponsors, and connect with fellow participants and neighbors in a glowing celebration.
Course Description: Step into action at Kiwanis Park in your EMS gear for a cause that truly matters. The Arizona Trauma Association invites you to participate in our annual Tackle Trauma 5K Race and Fundraiser, where every stride you take helps save lives and raise awareness about trauma.
Virtual Participation: Can't make it to Tempe? No problem! Join us virtually and complete your 5K wherever you are. You'll still be part of the excitement and contribute to this important cause. Virtual participants will receive a race packet, including a neon-themed t-shirt and race bib.
Why Participate? Trauma doesn't discriminate. It can affect anyone, causing lifelong suffering and burdening our healthcare system. Shockingly, traumatic injuries are the leading cause of death for children and adults up to age 46. This is a pressing public health issue that demands our attention!
We believe in providing the best care for injured patients through an inclusive and integrated trauma system. Your participation in our annual fundraiser fuels injury prevention, education, and research efforts to reduce fatalities in our great state.
Raise Your Voice, Raise Funds
Join us, and let's spread the word about these crucial issues. By participating, you're not just running a race; you're running toward a future with fewer traumatic injuries. Your support helps raise money for trauma education and makes a difference in Arizona.
Let's Tackle Trauma together, one stride at a time, under the vibrant glow of neon lights!
