From the Organizer
Join us for the Bulldog Buddies Inclusion 5K, a special event celebrating inclusion, acceptance, and the power of community. Whether you're running, walking, rolling, or cheering on a buddy, every step you take promotes a world where everyone belongs!
Bulldog Buddies is a program at Tazewell Middle School that is focused on creating opportunities for individuals with special needs to build friendships, develop life skills, and experience a sense of belonging. Throughout the year, we host activities such as baking events, holiday celebrations, and other special gatherings that bring joy and connection to our participants.
This year’s Inclusion 5K will feature both a traditional 5K race and a unique Buddy Mile, where a nondisabled participant is paired with an individual with special needs to walk or run together—highlighting the power of inclusion in action.
