The Syracuse Wawasee Chamber Color Run & Walk will take place on Saturday, June 27, 2026, at South Shore Village as part of America’s 250th celebration. Hosted by the Syracuse Wawasee Chamber of Commerce, the family-friendly event features a 5K & 1 mile events that you can either run or walk in, with registration beginning at 9:15 AM and the race starting at 10:00 AM. Participants can enjoy music, color stations, food and beer tents, free lemon shake-ups, patriotic activities, and tethered hot air balloon rides provided by RE/MAX. Pre-registration is $30 through June 22, or $35 on race day.
Every runner who pre-registers on or before June 22nd will be guaranteed a t-shirt. Any registrations received after June 22nd will be first come, first serve on race day. Overall, Masters, Grand Masters, Senior Masters, and top 3 per age division will receive prizes in the 5K; all who run the mile will receive a prize. Divisions will be gender based and consist of the following age groups:
9:15am - Registration and Packet Pickup Open
10:00am - Both Races Start
10:40am (approx) - Awards for Both Races
