From the Organizer
The Joy Run for Autism 5K is a fun, family-friendly community run/walk hosted by Joyful Journey Behavioral Services on August 23rd at Markham Park. This event was created to bring families, local businesses, and community members together in support of children and families navigating autism while raising funds for a nonprofit autism organization.
Participants can enjoy a scenic 5K course, finisher medals, awards for top runners, vendors, kids’ activities, sensory-friendly spaces, obstacle course, and more. Whether you’re running, walking, or cheering from the sidelines, there’s something for everyone to enjoy while supporting a meaningful cause.
All proceeds from the race will be donated to a nonprofit autism organization dedicated to providing services, resources, and support to families in need.
