For over 40 years, the Al Rivera Menudo Run 5K/10K has reached athletes, novices, family, friends, and community members. This event historically begins on a beautiful August morning at Whittier Narrows "Legg Lake" Park. This years event will feature a 5k Run, 10k Run, Fun Run, Kiddy Run and a Team Race!
Medals will be awarded to the top 3 male and female finishers in both the 5k and 10k in each of the following age divisions: 0-14, 15-18, 19-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-79, 80-89, 90+. *There are no awards for the Fun Run or Kiddy Run*
For the team event, the top 3 teams will receive a trophy.
ALL participants will receive a bowl of menudo, and participants that are 21+ will also receive a beer. Make sure to bring your ID for your free beer!
