SARR Freedom Day Run-4-Miler, 2-Miler & Li'l Firecrackers Kids Run

Running=Freedom. Come celebrate your freedom with the San Antonio RoadRunners for our traditional 4-Miler on the 4^th of July. Wear your best Red, White, and Blue for the Freedom Day 4-Miler, 2-Miler, and Li’l Firecrackers Kids Run. 

We have the virtual option if you cannot attend the live race. You can have your packet shipped (at extra cost) or you can pick up at in-person packet pick up (no extra cost)

This race features a 4-Miler, 2-Miler and a kids run. The live 4-Miler is the only event that is timed and has awards. The 2-Miler and kids run are NOT timed and will not have awards.

IN-PERSON RACE Details:

• Freedom Day 4-Miler will be chip-timed and awards will be given for overall and 5-year age groups
• 2-Miler is a fun run/walk and is not chip-timed.
• Costume contest after the race. Dress in your best RED, WHITE and BLUE!!!
• Shirts in adult and youth sizes available until sold out. We recommend registering by 6/1/25 to guarantee your shirt size.
• Finisher medals for all
• Post-race food and refreshments

VIRTUAL RACE Details:

• The Virtual Freedom Day 4-Miler and 2-Miler are races that you can run or walk from any location and route. You get to run your own race, at your own pace, and time it yourself.
• Signup, download and print your race bib, complete the 4-Miler or 2-Miler and submit your results.
• When you submit your time, you will also be able to download, print and/or share your Finisher's Certificate.
• Complete your race and submit your results between: July 4, 2026, 12:00am- July 25, 2026, 11:59pm
• Mens or womens tech shirt. Youth sizes will be limited.
• Finisher medal

AWARDS: We will be handing out awards for the 4-Miler only. Overall and age group awards in 5-year increments for the top 3. Must pick up award on race day. Check results before you leave, and have a friend pick up for you if you cannot stay for the ceremony.

Active-Duty Military get a $5 discount on the 4-Miler thru 6/7/26 (no other discounts apply; please show ID at packet pickup).
Runners age 24 or younger and age 70+ get a 50% discount on the 4-Miler with online registration thru 6/7/26 (no other discounts apply)
