Get ready to lace up your sneakers — and your costumes — for a race that gives more than just medals. Transplants for Children (TFC) is proud to host the 4th Annual Gift of Life 5K Run/Walk, a family-friendly event dedicated to raising awareness and support for pediatric transplant recipients and their families.
This year, we’re bringing back a fun twist in the spirit of Halloween with a costume-themed race for all ages! Join us for:
👟 A spirited 5K Run/Walk for teens and adults
🧒 A playful 1K Kids Dash for our youngest superheroes and goblins
We’re excited to announce participant categories to make the race even more fun and inclusive:
Ages 11 & Under – 1K Kids Dash
Ages 12–17 – Teens Category
Ages 18–39 – Primers Category
Ages 40 & Up – Masters Category
💚 Create a Team in Honor of a Transplant Warrior!
We invite you to gather your friends, family, or coworkers and create a team of 5 or more in honor of or in memory of a transplant recipient — whether they are thriving today or remembered with love. Show your support by running or walking in their name, wearing team shirts, or even themed costumes! Together, your team can help amplify the impact of this special event.
Your participation helps honor the Gift of Life — a second chance given to brave children who have undergone life-saving transplants — and supports the only nonprofit in the nation that provides full wraparound services not only to the transplant child, but their entire family.
Your registration helps us fund:
💙 Peer support groups for all ages
🎓 A scholarship program for transplant youth
🚨 Emergency financial assistance
… and much more!

🎽 Race Shirts
All registered runners will receive a commemorative race shirt. Late registrants (after September 1st, 2026) are not guaranteed a shirt or preferred size — so sign up early!
🏁 Whether you walk, jog, sprint, or roll — we’re so grateful to have you as part of this heart-filled day. Together, let’s celebrate life, honor our transplant warriors, and support the journey of healing.
