Mark your calendar with a BIG, PINK check mark!! The 14th Annual Paint the Parkway Pink Fun Run returns on October 10, 2026, presented by the ThriveWell Cancer Foundation at the San Antonio Police Training Academy ... and this year’s event is bigger, brighter, and more inspiring than ever.
Bring your friends, your family, and your best pink gear for a morning that celebrates strength, community, and hope. Whether you’re pounding the pavement in the 5k, enjoying the "Chappy B" Mile Walk, or watching the youngest participants light up the kids’ run, race day is all about coming together for a powerful cause. And stick around for the NEW "After Party" celebrating our survivors.
The San Antonio Police Training Academy offers a flat and fast course that winds through the campus, creating an energetic and one-of-a-kind race experience for runners and walkers of all levels. From start line to finish celebration, you’ll be surrounded by music, encouragement, and a sea of pink. NOTE: Beginning this year, the 5k will not be competitive - there will be a clock at the finish for you to see your time, but we will not have timer chips or an awards ceremony.
Registered participants for the 5K, One Mile, and kids' run will receive a commemorative race t-shirt (available in adult and youth sizes). Register before October 1 to guarantee your shirt. Don't forget to rally your friends and create a team to compete for the Largest Group award.
Can't make it in person? No problem! We're offering a virtual option for this race with race packets directly mailed to you. All virtual participants will receive a t-shirt and medal in a delightful goodie bag.
Join us as we run, walk, and rally together to support those impacted by cancer, and help us turn San Antonio pink once again.
