Location: Western Hunting & Conservation Expo: 100 S W Temple St. Salt Lake City, UT US 84101
Note: You will need your favorite hunting backpack for the workout!
Our goal is to raise over $50,000 for the Mule Deer Foundation. Every registration directly supports that mission.
Complete the hunt workout, and you’ll be entered to win a Sitka blacktail deer and sea duck hunt for two. In addition, participants have a 1-in-30 chance of winning prizes from their wave sponsors. All registrants also receive a free T-shirt, swag bag, and finisher buckle.
Every participant who completes the workout also earns an entry into a once-in-a-lifetime guided fly-in hunting package. This premier experience includes full outfitting, expert guiding, lodging, meals, and a complete gear package featuring packs, optics, and Weatherby rifles and shotguns. Everything is provided for an unforgettable adventure in one of the most legendary Sitka blacktail destinations on Earth. The winner will select their hunt window for the 2027/2028 season, with exact dates coordinated through Big Timber Outfitters.
Only 510 spots are available.
Each TOUGH Buck wave is made up of 30 participants, with prizes tied to every wave. That means you’ll have a 1 in 30 chance to win amazing gear and swag from our partner brands — giving every finisher a shot at something special.
Plus, every registrant receives three FREE months of MTNTOUGH+ Training, MDF Annual Membership, and a swag bag!
Wave prizes are drawn at the end of the event, at approximately 2:00 PM. Winners need not be present to win.
The Sitka blacktail drawing will happen at the end of the event, at approximately 2:15 PM. Winner MUST be present to win.
