Hope for Haiti exists to shine the light of Jesus by giving hope and a future to Haitian children entrusted to our care.
Join us for the Hope for Haiti 5K and Fun Run, a meaningful run and walk created to support the ongoing care and education of over 50 children at the Hope for Haiti orphanage.
Every step you take helps provide essential resources including food, shelter, education, and daily care for these incredible students.

The 5K begins at 8:00 AM at Anastasia Church, followed by a Fun Run for all ages at 8:15 AM, making it the perfect opportunity for everyone to participate, no matter their pace or experience.
The 5K race will take participants on a scenic course through Anastasia State Park and the surrounding community. This unique route features shaded roads covered by a natural hammock canopy, gentle turns and hills, and stretches through some of St. Johns County’s most beautiful terrain. Runners will make their way through the park, continue into one of St. Augustine’s picturesque neighborhoods, and finish strong down Old Beach Road back to the church.
Anastasia Church, one of our valued community partners, has graciously opened their beautiful, shaded back property for the start and finish line. Their facilities will be available for participants, and there is ample parking on site.
Since the race takes place on Halloween, participants are encouraged to come dressed in festive or creative costumes to add to the fun atmosphere.

You may register and/or pick up your race packet on Friday, October 30, from 4 - 6 PM or on October 31, from 6:45-7:45AM at Anastasia Church
Awards will be presented to top finishers in designated age categories.
Over All Male and Females and MASTERS 1st Place Male and Female will be recognized.
5K race participants may receive awards in the following categories:
9 and under,10-14,15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-24, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80 and over
This is a 5K run through Anastasia State Park and surrounding neighborhood. The roads are covered in a hammock with lots of shade and through some of St. Johns County's most beautiful terrain. The race begins at the Anastasia Church, proceeds with a run through the park with turns and hills, then through one of St. Augustine’s beautiful neighborhoods. The last leg of the run shoots the runners down Old Beach Road to the finish line in the back lot of Anastasia Church. The event ends with awards and refreshments at the finish line!
Course : Scenic 3.1 mile Anastasia State Park certified course and surrounding quiet, shaded neighborhoods.
Walkers are encouraged to participate! Strollers are allowed, although we ask they start in the back. Thank you for your understanding!
Dogs are welcome but must remain on a leash.
The race will be professionally timed and scored by Hasselmania Productions. The race will be timed using disposable electronic tags attached to the bib number. Please wear your bib number to the front, pinned at all four corners, so it is visible and unaltered. Printed results will be posted at the race site and live online during the race at www.RaceSmith.com
