RACE INFORMATION
Get in the holiday spirit and join us for the SECOND annual Holiday 5K & Fun Run; a celebration of fitness, community, and giving back! Whether you're running, walking, or cheering from the stands, your participation supports our local Rowlett cross country team and strengthens the bonds that make our community special. Dress in your favorite holiday gear and hit the course around our high school campus and nearby park. Let’s come together, get active, and make this a holiday tradition!
AWARDS
EVERY 5K PARTICIPANT WILL RECEIVE A FINISHER MEDAL
SCHEDULE
7:15 Check-in/Packet Pickup and registration opens. Packets and Registration will be at the entrance to the RHS football field
8:30 5k Run (Starts on the track)
9:30 Fun Run (Starts on the track)
10:00 Awards Ceremony
RACE SHIRT
Everyone who registers by December 1st will be guaranteed a shirt of their selected size. Everyone who registers after December 1st will have the opportunity to receive shirts until stock runs out. Shirts are red Sport-Tek Performance Competitor long sleeve dri-fit tees. 5k sponsors will be printed on the back in white ink.
COURSE & PARKING
The course is combined concrete and field, with some spots being narrow for traffic. We do not recommend a stroller, but if you are up for the adventure the choice is yours! Please, no pets on the courses. It will be an out and back course that starts on RHS campus and goes through the Pecan Grove Park trail behind the Rec. Click the hyperlink on the left side of the menu to view the course.
Parking will be available in the back of Rowlett High School before 8:00am; there will be Saturday School traffic same day. Limited parking will also be available in the front of the school close to PGBT.
