From the Organizer
Join us for a meaningful and uplifting 5K Walk/Run in honor of Maddie Eitas, whose life was tragically cut short in an avalanche this past February. Maddie brought light, laughter, adventure, and joy everywhere she went. After completing her very first — and only — race last December, she was excited to continue running and participating in many more events.
This race is a way for all of us to carry her spirit forward: gathering together in community, celebrating movement, friendship, and the joy Maddie shared so freely. Through every step, we honor her memory and continue the path she was just beginning.
Proceeds from the event will benefit the Forever1111 Foundation, helping support athletic programs and creating opportunities for others to pursue the activities and passions they love — just as Maddie did.
Whether you run, walk, or cheer from the sidelines, we invite you to join us in remembering Maddie with love, light, and togetherness. Let’s celebrate her life the way she lived it — full of energy, kindness, and joy.
