From the Organizer
Welcome to the registration page for the Poolesville Day 5K Run & Walk!
The Poolesville Day 5K Run& Walk is an annual community event held the morning of the Poolesville Day celebration, hosted by the Town of Poolesville, Maryland. Runners and walkers of all ability levels from far and wide are welcome to participate in our 5K.
Coordinated each year by the Poolesville Area Chamber of Commerce (PACC) and the Monocacy Lions Club, and generously supported by many PACC-member businesses, the Poolesville Day 5K typically attracts more than 400 participants. We are grateful to our sponsors and to our participants for making this event possible. All proceeds (after expenses) are donated by PACC and Monocacy Lions Club directly to areas of need in our community.
Pets and skates are not allowed on the course! For everyone’s safety, please follow this rule. Poolesville Day 5K Run & Walk t-shirts are available to the first 450 runners/walkers registered. The race happens rain or shine. Early bird pricing is available. About 30-45 minutes after the 5K ends, the Poolesville Day Parade kicks off a fun-filled, family-friendly Poolesville Day street festival featuring vendors, food, and entertainment until 4 p.m. The parade route is one-block from the 5K finish line.
Can’t run or walk, but want to volunteer on Race Day? Please contact Race Director Heidi Rosvold-Brenholtz at hrosvold@me.com. Many volunteers are needed to make Race Day work smoothly.
The Poolesville Area Chamber of Commerce and the Monocacy Lions Club thank all our sponsors for their interest in and support of the Poolesville Day 5K Run & Walk. We also thank the Upper Montgomery County Volunteer Fire Department for its support each year for helping to keep our 5k participants and spectators safe.
