From the Organizer

The Classic Leftovers Run is BACK for 2025!

Burn off your leftovers, help us with OUR leftovers, and support The Daily Bread Community Food Pantry by running a 4.1 miler or half marathon on the Sunday after Thanksgiving.

Every year, we host a number of events with fantastic swag, but we ALWAYS have leftover shirts and medals. When you pickup your packet, you'll get the RUNgades' leftover shirt/buff/jacket of your choice. When you finish the run, you'll get the RUNegades' leftover finisher's medal of YOUR CHOICE!

Both races begin in Lower Perkiomen Valley Park. The 4.1-miler will take you on the Audubon Loop Trail.  The half will take you on the SRT to Phoenixville and THEN on the Audubon Loop. These serene courses offer the perfect setting for challenging your friends, enjoying nature, and feeling fit!

Half Marathon Start: 8:00 am
4.1-Miler Start: 8:15 am

The field for both events combined is extremely limited, so register today!

*A portion of registration fees and 100% of all donations made to the race will go to The Daily Bread Food Pantry in Collegeville, PA.

FAQs

What do you mean by "leftover medal of my choice?"
During the year, The RUNegades help put on a number of events. The medals are always uniquely themed and artist-designed, and we always have leftovers. When you finish, you'll get to choose one of those--with a special "Leftover Run" plaque on the back!

Will I get a T-shirt?
When you pick up your bib, you'll get to choose from all of our leftover T-shirts or a RUNegades' buff or socks.

Do you have any course maps?
Yes!
For the 4.1-miler: https://www.mapmyrun.com/routes/view/3486232993
For the half marathon: https://www.mapmyrun.com/routes/view/3486223459

What is policy for refunds/deferrals?
There are no refunds or deferrals, but you may transfer your bib to another runner for a $15 transfer fee.

Is there a course time-limit?
We ask that you are off course by 12 pm

Will the trail be closed to the public?
The Audubon Loop and SRT are public trails and we cannot close them to the public for our events.

Are dogs and/or strollers permitted on the trail?
The trail is open to the public, so dogs and strollers are permitted. However, pursuant to PA state law, all dogs MUST be leashed. If you run with your dog you take full responsibility for your dog's actions. We ask that you do not run with a dog who is not used to group runs.

Can I join as part of team?
Yes! When you register, you'll be asked if you want to start or join a team. You don't have to, but it will be fun!

How many water stations will there be?
For the half, there will be water stations roughly every 2 to 2.5 miles. You will pass 5 on course. There will be one for the 4.1 miler.  Garbage cans will be set up roughly 75 yards past each water station.

Where/when can I pick up my packet?
You can pick up your packet the day before the race (Saturday November 30) from 7 am to 9 am at the Burn off the Bird 5K in Phoenixville. We'll be near the starting line at the Phoenixville Rec Center (501 Franklin Ave, Phoenixville)
OR
Pick up your packet on race day at the start/finish area starting at 7 am.
