From the Organizer
The John 3:17 Ministry in Newport invites you to join us on May 30, 2026, for our Second Annual Miles for Smiles Run 🏃♀️💙. At 3.17 miles, it offers just a bit more bite than a traditional 5K (3.1 miles)!
All proceeds benefit the John 3:17 Ministry Dental Fund 🦷✨, helping provide much-needed dental care for the women in our program.
📍 The route is a simple out-and-back course starting from the future John 3:17 transition house located on Highway 145 S in Newport.
🕗 Race-day registration opens at 8:00 a.m.
🏁 Race begins at 9:00 a.m.
💵 Entry fee: $30 for ages 13 and older
👧 Kids 12 & under: FREE (select “Child 12 & Under Entry”)
🏆 Awards will be given to the Top 3 overall finishers. As this is a charity run, we’ve kept awards simple so that as much of the proceeds as possible can go directly to supporting the women we serve.
🌿 John 3:17 Ministry provides free recovery services to residents and their families on 10 rural acres at the Church at Remmel Community for Christ. Our ministry offers faith-based training in a nurturing, non-denominational environment.
💛 Your participation in events like this helps us continue to uplift and support these women.
