From the Organizer
The Weir Warrior Memorial Ruck is a Dark Horse Adventures event. The ruck endurance race features a 6-hour and 3-hour timed course for adults and a 1-hour timed course for children to honor the memories of Tyler and Wyatt Weir who were killed in a vehicle accident in March of 2021. Help us keep their spirits alive as you grind out the miles on the mountains of Showdown, MT.
You not only get to push your body and mind to the limits -- you will also be met with food and a beer (for those 21+) in the lodge once the course is conquered.
Each adult participant will receive a hat and shirt, kiddos will get a shirt, and the top three finishers in the 3-hour and 6-hour ruck will be sprinkled with a little something extra.
All proceeds from the race will go to the Weir Warrior Memorial Scholarship, which is available to all graduating Montana high school seniors seeking training at a technical or trade school.
Come out and see what you're made of...No Weak Sauce!!
