From the Organizer
Looking to level up your training? Join the =PR= Weekend Run Crew for coached sessions and a welcoming community of athletes of all levels—from walkers and run/walkers to competitive runners. Whether you’re training for the MCM, Army 10, or building consistency and looking for accountability and a fun group of people, we’ve got you covered. Enjoy included training plans for those with a goal, on-site coach support, a free race entry, giveaways, and more. Note that runs are supported weekly for up to 2.5 hours.* We hit the road early—6–6:30 AM in the summer—so come chase your goals with us! Training groups meet in Arlington/DC, Ashburn/Reston, Burke, and Vienna!
* For those with long training goals coaches will help you coordinate working together/starting before or finishing after the main Run Crew group, but unlike marathon-specific training programs in the past, there is not a formal run going longer than 2.5 hours. Also, check out our FREE RunLonger events offered on 8/9, 9/20 and 10/4 and open to ANYONE going any distance and supporting those going up to 5 hours to make sure our marathon-focused folks do get those long miles in with a lot of company some weeks!
