We are pleased to host the Seventh Annual 5K road race as part of the Mount Washington Spring Festival. Race will begin on Park View Ave. and end at the Mount Washington Sports complex. This road race is for all ages and skill levels. It's open to runners and walkers. It will be stroller friendly as well. Proceeds from this race will benefit the Bullitt East High School Track and Field team If you don't want to race, please consider donating. All money goes toward supporting this highly successful program.
All participants will receive a custom medal. Participants will also have the option to purchase a t-shirt (deadline to order is 4/26/2027).
The live 5K Race time is 7:30am on May 8, 2027.
Awards - We will hand out overall race winner and runner-up awards for males and females at the finish line.
5K Course description - The race course will start on Park View Ave. near Flat Lick Road, travel NE toward Landis Lane before taking a left and going to the end of Landis Lane. There will be a turn around before following Griffin Lane to Gardiner Way and turning around at the cul-de-sac. The course will then backtrack to Park View Ave. before entering the park near the start line on Parkview. The course then goes around the park on the walking path before an awesome finish near the amphitheater.
Proceeds from this race will go to the Bullitt East Track and Field team.
Race fee does not include any taxes or processing fees. Race t-shirts can be purchased separately.
Packet Pick-up - Bibs can be picked up starting at 6:30am on race day at the Wesbanco Pavilion. T-shirts (for those who order before 4/26/2027) and medals will be handed out on race day.
