Choose from the 5k or 10k distance. Start the run/walk and end at the Surf n Slide Water Park, which is a great place to have fun. Enjoy kicking off the weekend with a good family event to get the weekend festivities started. This event is brought to you by Moses Lake High School Cross Country boosters . Come and celebrate the weekend with us!~
Entry prior to May 10, 2025 includes a race T shirt. Entries taken after that date cannot be guaranteed a shirt.
Get your entries in early to get a shirt.
Entries starting May 14 late entry pricing of $35.
There is a multi family discount ( 2 adults/ 2 kids) pricing.
Children 12 and under registration is $15.00 for the 5 K run/walk or 10 K run.
Bib / Shirt pickup May 22 - 4-7 pm will be at the Old Tri State Parking Lot 1224 S Pioneer Way, Moses Lake, WA 98837
Race Day Bib/Shirt pickup May 23 Surf N Slide Water Park Parking Lot - 6:45- 7:45 am
Spring Fest 10 K run starts at 8 am. The 5 K run/walk starts at 8:05 am. Course closure is 9:30 am.
No dogs allowed on course but welcome to cheer on their favorite runners along the way!
Strollers allowed but please line up towards the back of the race.
Awards to overall male and female finisher for 5 K and 10 K
Age group awards for Top 3 finishers male, female ( 1-6, 7-10, 11-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50- 59, 60-69, 70-79, +Grandmasters )
Awards will be based on AGE ON RACE DAY.

The 10K is the distance where running stops feeling like a starting point and starts feeling like a sport. Long enough to require a real training block. Short enough that race day is fully manageable for a first-timer who's put in the work.
Race day energy at a 10K is community at its best — strangers cheering you by name, people moving toward the same goal, an atmosphere that solo training can't replicate. It's fast enough that you'll spend the whole race pushing rather than managing your effort.
This is also the distance that builds the base for everything else. Most athletes who go on to run half marathons, do triathlons, or compete in HYROX started here. What you need: running shoes fitted to your stride, a training plan, and the race on your calendar. The registration is what makes the deadline real.
How long to train: 4–8 weeks for most fitness levels.
From 5K to marathon, running races are the most accessible entry point into endurance sport. There's a distance for every fitness level and a community at every start line.
