From the Organizer
Join us for the 3rd Annual Race for Renewal 5K Walk/Run as we come together to support individuals experiencing homelessness in our community. The race will begin at 8:00 AM and all proceeds will benefit The Renewal Center of NELA, a community day shelter located in the heart of Monroe, Louisiana.
The Renewal Center provides essential services and support to individuals in need, including meals, laundry services, Bible studies, case management, assistance obtaining vital documents, and connections to local resources. Our mission is to help individuals move toward stability and self-sufficiency while offering hope and compassion along the way.
While our current facility limits our ability to provide emergency housing, we have a vision to expand our campus and offer even more resources and services on-site. With your support, we can continue making a lasting impact on homelessness in our community.
Join us as we Race for Renewal and help bring hope, healing, and opportunity to those who need it most.
