🏃♂️🐾 Race with Bigfoot through Marion and kick off your day at the WNC Bigfoot Festival! 🐾🏃♀️
Join us for a fun and exciting run through Marion before heading downtown to enjoy all the Bigfoot Festival has to offer! Proceeds from the race will support the general fund at Marion Elementary School. 💙
📦 Packet Pick-Up:
• August 28th from 5:00–7:00 PM at Marion Elementary School
• OR race morning beginning at 7:00 AM
🏁 Race Start:
• 8:00 AM at Marion Elementary School
• Side parking lot near the library
🚗 Parking:
• Available at the church across the street (both sides)
• Along surrounding roads near the school
🏅 Awards:
The top 3 males and females overall will be recognized, as well as the top 3 in each age group:
• 0–5
• 6–10
• 11–14
• 15–19
• 20–29
• 30–39
• 40–49
• 50–59
• 60+

Participants will follow the route below through Marion:
➡️ Start at Marion Elementary School (parking lot)
➡️ Turn right onto Robert St.
➡️ Continue onto McDowell Ave.
➡️ Go straight through Court St. (toward EMMS)
➡️ Turn left onto Woodland Dr.
➡️ Loop around the Woodland Dr. neighborhood
➡️ Turn left back onto McDowell Ave.
➡️ Turn left onto Pineview St.
➡️ Turn left onto Clay St.
➡️ Turn left onto Greenlee St.
➡️ Turn left onto Euclid Ave.
➡️ Turn left onto Tremont St.
➡️ Turn right onto Alabama Ave.
➡️ Turn right onto Peavine Trail
➡️ Turn right onto State St. (stay on the right-hand side)
➡️ Turn left onto McDowell Ave.
➡️ Go straight through Court St.
➡️ Turn left onto McDowell Ave.
➡️ Finish back at Marion Elementary School
