Wheels & Wings Festival 5K

Join us in beautiful Lancaster County just south of Lititz for the 9th running of this annual competitive and fun 5K benefit.  The event is totally on the campus of Brethren Village directly across from the Lancaster Airport.  The looped route winds around the lightly traveled community roads.  With minimal elevation changes this will prove to be a fast and enjoyable course. 

BENEFITTING: Proceeds support Rotary Club of Lancaster’s Summer Youth Experience focused on developing leadership skills of Lancaster City students. Benefits also support other service programs of our Club locally, nationally & globally through Rotary International, a network of over 32,000 clubs in 200 plus countries.

PLACE & PARKING: East entrance to Brethren Village, 505 Airport Rd, Lititz, PA 17543.  Parking directly across Airport Road on Airport grounds.

REGISTRATION/RACE PACKET PICK-UP:  At Start/Finish area 6:30 am to 8:00 am on race day at East Entrance directly across road from parking area on Airport grounds.

COURSE: Route totally on the Brethren Village campus. Looped route winds around the lightly traveled community roads.  Minimal elevation changes. Fast & enjoyable course.  Held rain or shine. Professionally chip timed by 2L Race Services.

START FORMAT & TIMING: 5K runners will be self-seeded & begin from the START/FINISH ARCH. Over All awards will be based off Gun Time.  We ask only the ELITE RUNNERS going for the win, to toe off first at the start line for an 8 am race start  All age group awards will be based off chip time from crossing start to crossing finish.  9:30 am Course Closes. Runners will see results posted online.

RACE AWARDS: 5K Race Over All Winners:  Men - 1st Place $50 + Trophy, Women - 1st Place $50 + Trophy.  2nd + 3rd place trophies for men and women.  In addition, 1st, 2nd and 3rd place medals in the following age group: 19 & under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80 & over.  9:00 am Award Ceremony Begins. 

AMENITIES: Tech T-shirt give away sizing assured for those registered by midnight 4/27/26 - later registration shirts sizes available on a first come first served basis. Refreshments for all participants, outdoor toilet facilities and lots of convenient parking across Airport Road on airport grounds.  

Stick around for the Car Show & Fly-in beginning at 9:00 am through 1:00 pm with food trucks and activities for the youngsters.
