Join Us for the 7th Annual Lindale Turkey Trot!

Kick off your Thanksgiving morning with the 7th Annual Lindale Turkey Trot! This fun-filled event features a 5K race and a Kids Race, hosted at EJ Moss Intermediate School in Lindale, Texas. It’s the perfect way to celebrate the holiday, get active, and support our community.

Race Details

Kids Race: Starts at 8:30 AM (for ages 10 and under)
5K Race: Starts at 8:45 AM
Our course starts and finishes on Eagle Spirit Drive, providing plenty of space for family and friends to cheer on participants as they start their Thanksgiving holiday with a bang.

What to Expect

Tom’s Coffee Truck: Enjoy free coffee and hot chocolate for all, thanks to our amazing sponsors.

Kids Race: This is more than just a little dash! Kids race around the huge parking lot, a challenging course for the little ones that has great photo opportunities. 

5K Participants: Receive a soft blend Lindale Turkey Trot t-shirt, a finisher medal, and a chip-timed race.

Top Performers: Gold, silver, and bronze medals will be awarded to the top three finishers in each age division.

Kids Race Participants: Get a kids' t-shirt and a finisher medal. Kids registered for the Kids Race can join the 5K for free, but chip timing requires separate registration.

Important Notes

The Kids Race is exclusively for ages 10 and under.
Strollers, wagons, and pets are welcome on the 5K course (pets must be leashed, and no aggressive breeds are allowed).
All registration is completed online, including on Thanksgiving morning (if spots are still available).
Support Your Community: Proceeds from the event go directly to the Lindale ISD Education Foundation, helping to fund educational initiatives in our community. (Please note: this is not an Education Foundation-hosted event.)
