HealthWorks & Oatlands Present: Miles for Mammograms
Oatlands and HealthWorks for Northern Virginia are teaming up to help beat breast cancer, one mile at a time.
Join us for Miles for Mammograms, a community 5K dedicated to funding life-saving breast cancer screenings for women in our region. Every step you take helps ensure that more women have access to early detection, care, and support, regardless of income or insurance.
Oatlands, a site of the National Trust for Historic Preservation, offers a beautiful and historic landscape for community connection and recreation. Its trails host premier cross-country events, including the Oatlands Invitational and the Virginia State Cross Country Championships. HealthWorks for Northern Virginia provides comprehensive medical, dental, and behavioral healthcare across five locations, serving all who walk through its doors, including those who are uninsured or underinsured.
Set on the stunning Oatlands landscape, this course winds through fields and forests, and features the iconic Heartbreak Hill, the most challenging stretch of the course, a steep climb that has tested and inspired runners at Oatlands for years.
Whether you run, walk, or cheer from the sidelines, you are part of something bigger: supporting women, strengthening our community, and helping save lives. Together, we are bringing care to every step, because together, we are tougher than Heartbreak Hill! We can't wait to see you there!
