From the Organizer
Come celebrate the birth of David Brearley—American Founding Father and signer of the Constitution—by participating in a fun run! This scenic, out-and-back 5K course begins at his historic home, the Brearley House (built in 1761), and follows the Delaware & Raritan Canal to the Port Mercer Canal House (built in the 1830s).
Prizes will be awarded to the top three male and female finishers.
Registration includes snacks, drinks, and tours of the Brearley House.
Due to limited parking at the Brearley House, parking will be available at the corporate park adjacent to the property:
2000 Lenox Drive, Lawrenceville, NJ 08648.
From there, participants will follow the Lawrence Hopewell Trail to the Brearley House. The walk is approximately ¼–½ mile, and directional signs will be posted. If you require accommodations, please reach out in advance.
Registration opens at 7:30 AM inside the Brearley House. Participants are welcome to explore the home before or after the race. Restrooms are available on site. Race-day registration will also be offered.
All proceeds benefit the Lawrence Historical Society.
Please reach out with any questions.
