Marble City Running is hosting this 5K race Sponsored by Fas' Movement and other community partners for runners who want a flat fast race along Sutherland Avenue, one of the hubs of running in Knoxville!
Course:
Exiting south from John Tarleton Park, turn right onto Sutherland Avenue and head west for approximately 1.5 miles.
Turn right off of Sutherland Avenue, into the 'Dead End BBQ' parking lot and head counter clockwise around the front parking lot perimeter until you reach the parking lot exit onto Sutherland Avenue.
Turn left (East) onto Sutherland Avenue and follow Sutherland Avenue approximately 1.5 miles until you turn left (North) onto the enterance road to John Tarleton park to finish the route in 0.1 miles.
Course will be supported by the Knoxville Police Department to assist with traffic and road closures.
Packet pick up will be only available on Sunday morning starting at 6:30am at TBD.
Parking will be at Field #2 at John Tarleton Park
Prizes will be given to the top Male & top Female overall. Small prizes available for top finisher in each age category (10-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+)and raffle prize options for both runners and spectators alike during race check-in! First 100 registrations will receive custom Marble City Socks with their registration. Orders within the week leading up to race day are NOT guaranteed a giveaway item.
