From the Organizer
5k in honor of Lawrence Sancomb and his current fight with ALS.
Proceeds will be going to the ALS Association who is leading the fight against ALS by investing in groundbreaking research, ensuring access to quality care and disease education, advocating for policy change, and raising awareness through community events.
Our family is committed to transparency in how your contributions are used. Unless otherwise specified, all donations will be allocated as follows: (i) 25% will be reserved for contingency expenses, including, without limitation, potential tax liabilities: and (ii) the remaining 75% will be applied to cover the costs of the race, including, without limitation, permits, water stations, insurance, t-shirts, etc.
All remaining funds will be donated to the ALS Association, first after the race has concluded and all expenses paid, and again after any and all resulting tax liabilities have been assessed and paid. No portion of donations will be used for personal profit. Your contributions are not tax deductible.
