From the Organizer
Construction is officially complete at Little Trout Lake Park, and it's time to celebrate! The Marquette County Planning Division is holding a grand re-opening on June 13th, from 12PM to 4PM.
The Marquette County Planning Division and their partners have knocked the revitalization of Little Trout Lake out of the park! The new trails are beautiful, and we're going to show them off.
The folks from Forsyth Forward will be helping with this re-opening by putting on a 5K as one of the many events.
There will be a lot going on from 12PM until 4PM that people can enjoy, but this page is exclusively for the 5K signup.
This is a free 5K Run/Walk, open to all ages and abilities.
The 5K will start at 2PM near the band pavilion. Please find the Forsyth Forward table to retrieve your race bib prior to the 2PM start.
You do need to sign up, sign a waiver, and wear a bib to participate in this event. Please give yourself ample time to do so before 2PM.
No pets permitted in the race.
Course Description
The course will go out and back in two separate directions on the new gravel trails. Although the trails are wide, this means that runners will need to stay to the right when not passing to avoid oncoming runners coming from the opposite direction. There is just over 100 feet of elevation gain.
