From the Organizer
Celebrate five decades of running with Fleet Feet at The Big Run, presented by Brooks. Hosted by Fleet Feet Winston-Salem & Clemmons, this community 5K honors Global Running Day with summer vibes, shared memories, and the kind of runner's high that keeps you coming back. We're back at Ivey Redmon Park in Kernersville — and we can't wait to celebrate running with you. Let the good miles roll!
A huge thank you to Brooks Sports for generously sponsoring The Big Run nationwide, and to Fleet Feet Winston-Salem & Clemmons for bringing it home to the Triad.
You'll run (or walk!) a beautiful cross-country course at Ivey Redmon Park. Because of the cross-country format, runners are divided into two heats:
Heat 1 — Expected finish time under 30 minutes. Choose this heat if you are a more competitive runner.
Heat 2 — Expected finish time 25 minutes or over. Choose this heat if you are a less competitive runner.
After you cross the finish line, stick around for our post-race expo!
A portion of race proceeds will be donated to our Good Works Engine charity. Good Works Engine was formed in 2010 (formerly Mission: Feet First) and exists to aid the underprivileged. Through our charity we provide properly fitted shoes to local homeless, sheltered, and tent-city communities, as well as students in local low-income schools.
Online registration closes at 7:00 AM on race morning, June 6th.
Results are based on gun/clock time. Chip start times are not recorded for cross-country starts.
Heats 1 and 2 are combined for all age group awards.
Age Groups: 9 & under · 10–14 · 15–19 · 20–24 · 25–29 · 30–34 · 35–39 · 40–44 · 45–49 · 50–54 · 55–59 · 60–64 · 65–69 · 70–74 · 75–79 · 80 & over
Note: Live race day results on RunSignUp will not reflect division award placement for Heat 2. Combined results from our timing system will be presented at the race and updated on RunSignUp following the event.
