The Burnie Run 5k run/walk welcomes everyone to participate in honor of Mrs. Burndeen Blackard that lost her battle to ovarian cancer in 2010. The run/walk will be held in Iuka, MS on Saturday, October 18, 2025 at 8am. Proceeds from the event benefit The Burnie Run Educational Scholarship and is open to any high school senior that resides and attends school in Tishomingo County, Mississippi.
