From the Organizer
Join us for the VIA's 25th Annual Irvington Turkey Trot on Thanksgiving Day, rain or shine. It's a scenic race through the neighborhoods in Historic Irvington for those serious competitors and a fun jog-walk-skip for the rest of us! The Turkey Trot is a “must-do” event for the Thanksgiving holiday on the Northern Neck of Virginia, and in the spirit of this tradition, a small portion of race proceeds will provide financial support to animal welfare organizations located here in Lancaster County. The Irvington Turkey Trot is organized by the dedicated volunteers of the VIA ~ the Village Improvement Association.
There will be no race day registration.
All 2-mile and 5-mile participants receive a custom race T-shirt while supplies last. Sign up early to get your beautiful and unique Race T.
Awards for both the 2-mile and 5-mile races are given to the top three male and female participants overall, and top three male and female participants in age groups: 8 and under, 9-12, 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80 and over.
There will be a free (no-fee) Tot Trot for the children at the Irvington Commons. No registration required. Tot Trot participants do not receive a Race T.
Please follow all COVID-19 recommended safe guidelines.
