Trailhead 5k 2025
Join us for a unique 5K experience that blends the best of both worlds road and trail running! This hybrid course features approximately 1.2 miles of paved greenway and 2 scenic miles on a well-marked singletrack trail.
Expect a mix of smooth pavement to get your legs moving, followed by shaded trails that wind through Hickory Cove Nature Preserve, offering a touch of adventure and a refreshing break from the typical road race. The course finishes back on the greenway, giving runners a fast, flat finish. Whether you're a seasoned trail runner or tackling your first 5K, this course offers a fun and approachable challenge for all levels.
Get ready for a memorable race day with nature, community, and a great finish line vibe!
Proceeds from the race go to the Land Trust of North Alabama.
We encourage the entire family to participate this year.
