From the Organizer
Juneteenth weekend, ZFT Run Club will be celebrating 9 years by hosting our annual Run-Walk-Crawl Anniversary 5K & Celebration. We are extending the invitation for all runners, joggers, walkers, and crawlers in the city of Houston and surrounding areas to come out and help us celebrate this milestone!
Before The Run
We are utilizing this time to welcome our participants and prepare for the run. We are encouraging participants to pick up apparel packets, test out a new pair of running shoes from our running shoe partners, and meet other participants before the run starts. Additionally, there will be a pre-run group stretch for all participants to take part in, then we will head to the start line to get ready to kick off our annual Run-Walk-Crawl 9 Year Anniversary 5K!
How Far/Fast Is The Run?
Our Run-Walk-Crawl 9 Year Anniversary 5K will be 3.1 miles. This is a "fun run" so we encourage you to run your own race, at your own pace. Therefore, you can run/walk/crawl as much as you see fit to complete the 3.1 miles. We will have pacers guiding participants through the course, and they'll instruct everyone on where to go to make sure no one gets lost. Those who registered in a timely manner will receive their finisher's medal upon crossing the finish line!
After The Run
We will have a variety of food, apparel, and recovery partners/vendors on-site to help turn our post-run experience into a celebration you don't want to miss! There will be giveaways and raffles provided by ZFT Run Club and our participating partners/vendors. We will also have a DJ on-site playing all the latest and greatest hits to keep the party going. So, make sure you stick around after the run and enjoy the festivities!
*There is a limited number of Finisher Medals available. Make sure you register ASAP to ensure you get yours before they sell out*
