We are looking forward to the 2026 Hoodlebug 5K Run & Fun Walk to be held Sunday, September 13, 2026. This is a race that has been held for years as part of the Homer City Business Association's Annual Fall Festival. The race starts at 4:30 PM on the bridge on Main Street near Floodway Park, but plan to come early to enjoy the Festival activities.
The Hoodlebug 5K is an out and back race held mostly on the nearby Hoodlebug Trail. Runners and walkers are welcome. Family pricing is available so bring the whole family.
New this year: Chip timing by Gingerbread Timing. Live results will be uploaded every 30 seconds during the race at RunSignUp.
Awards are available to the top three males and females, and to the top three males and females on five-year age groups starting at ages 12 and under through 70+ No separate walker awards.
Race day registration is from 3:00 to 4:15 at Floodway Park on the west end of Homer City, PA. Pre-registration is encouraged.
Race t-shirts are guaranteed to those who register by September 1st. Shirts available after that date and on race day only as supplies last.
The race is held rain or shine. No deferrals.
