From the Organizer
We have started the "Kailey Jaie Prenoveau Scholarship" in memory of our beautiful daughter, sister, granddaughter, cousin and friend. We will be having our 5th annual event featuring a 5K on September 12th at 10:00 am at 421 Hill Rd, Harwinton, CT.
Kailey Jaie Prenoveau was a resident of Harwinton and was a dedicated Student-Athlete. When Kailey decided to do something, she was all in. Kailey loved being a part of the LSM Crew and Swim teams. She was able to earn a Varsity Letter in both sports as a freshman. Kailey was also a part of the LSM Concert Choir and was dedicated to her schoolwork.
She loved her brothers fiercely and was their ultimate protector. Kailey was kind and loving and looked out for others. She never wanted anyone to feel left out
or alone and wanted to see everyone be their best self. Known for her competitive drive and determination, Kailey strived for excellence in all of her endeavors. If she committed to do something she was all in.
This year we were able to offer 4 scholarships to graduating students from Lewis S. Mills in the amount of $8,000. To date we have had the great pleasure of offering $67,000 in Kailey's honor. THAT IS AMAZING! This is all thanks to you and your support for this event. Our hope is to continue to grow our Scholarship Fund and keep Kailey's memory alive for years to come.
