Pocono Mountains Marathon Race Festival: Marathon, Half Marathon, 10K and 5K
Greentown, PA on October 10, 2026.

 

Come enjoy the beautiful fall foliage while running the Pocono Mountain Running Festival.

  • We have race lengths for all athletes.
  • The course is 100% on paved asphalt roads!
  • The Full Marathon will be a certified Boston Marathon Qualifier # PA21011NP.
  • The course is in the process of certification and we guarantee that it will be certified.

  • We are proud to announce that we have a non-binary registration option that has their own awards categories: overall and age groups.

  • All first time half marathon and marathon finishers will receive a plaque that commemorates their first half or full marathon finish.  The athletes will also receive their finisher’s medal. Find Mark at the end of the race and let him know you ran your first marathon or half.

EARLY START INFO

Here is the information going forward for all races regarding early starts:


- No early starts for 5K/10K
- A single early start time 1 hour before the actual start time for Half (& Full if applicable) 
- No awards for any early starts 


Also, anyone doing the early start should be trying to run a 15min mile or slower for the half or full. If they end up doing faster than 2:15 for the half they may not get a time.

SWAG

Fast Finishes is known for high-end, well-designed SWAG at our events. Entry fees will include:

  • T-shirt
  • Finisher's medal
  • Ankle running socks

  • We do everything we can to make sure your shirt size and medal and socks are available. Sometimes items may not be available at your event.
  • Please talk with our registration people after the race or see Mark if you have not received your SWAG! 
  • We will address and resolve your concerns to your satisfaction. 
  • Our commitment to you is that we will make good on getting any item that you expect and deserve.

The half marathon is the distance where you find out what you're actually made of. Long enough to demand real preparation. Short enough that it doesn't consume your life to train for it. Most people who run their first half describe it as the race that changed their relationship with what they're capable of. Once you cross this finish line, the bar moves. That's not a warning — that's the point.

Race day energy varies by event size, but the finish line feeling is the same regardless. Big races keep the noise going the whole way. Smaller races give you stretches where it's just you and the miles — and that solitude becomes its own kind of fuel.

The half marathon rewards people who show up for the boring training miles.

How long to train: 10–14 weeks. If you're already running consistently, 10 weeks of structured buildup is enough. If you're building from a casual base, give yourself 14.
