From the Organizer
The Scott Burgess Memorial 5k was established in 2013 to honor our own hero, SSG Scott Burgess. Scott was killed in Afghanistan in 2011 while serving in the Army's 1st Battalion, 84th Field Artillery Regiment, 170th Infantry Brigade Combat Team. All of the proceeds go to a scholarship program benefiting the youth of Robertson County where Scott was raised.
***NOTICE*** All registrations received after May 19th will not be guaranteed a shirt. We will order extra shirts in an attempt to fulfill all of the racers but there is a chance that we have more late registrations than the number of shirts available. If you are a late registration you are encouraged to arrive at the packet pick up as early as possible to claim your shirt.
