Get ready to kick off summer with a little friendly competition and a whole lot of cheer at the Rahr Brewing Company Oktoberfest 5K Social Run/Walk – June Edition! Dadgum That Cup brings together the global excitement of the world championship soccer games and the hometown flavor of Rahr’s beloved Dadgum beer for a celebration that’s equal parts miles and mugs. Whether you’re chasing a PR or cruising with the pace crew, this social run/walk is all about fun, fellowship, and a frosty finish. Grab your crew and join us for a spirited run followed by well-earned brews and bragging rights. It’s your monthly training run for the big Oktoberfest 5K — because around here, we play hard, run happy, and always raise the cup!
And remember - The monthly Rahr Brewing Company Running Club social run/walk is your training for the annual and "official" Rahr Brewing Company Oktoberfest 5K. Think of it as a social stroll or sprint that primes you for the main event, where running meets revelry!
Social Run Includes: 3ish mile run/walk (untimed), led by our world-famous BEER PACERS, two (2) Rahr Brewing Company draft beers (must be 21+), pint glass, and breakfast tacos courtesy of That Taco Dude!
SOCIAL RUN SCHEDULE: Check in opens at 8:00 AM and the group start is at 8:30 AM. If you miss the group start at 8:30 AM, you can still check in and run/walk, check in closes at 9:00 AM.
8:00 AM: Check in opens for the social run/walk
8:30 AM: “Group” Start (run with the group and awesome beer pacers!)
9:30 AM: That Taco Dude starts slinging those hot and fresh breakfast tacos
10:30 AM: Each month we’ll have games and/or a raffle with a chance to score some fun stuff, must be present to play and/or win.
11:00 AM: Last call
11:30 AM: Social run/walk ends
