From the Organizer
The FCRC is offering a summer youth running program at the track again this year! This is open to kids ages 7-17. The program will run on Tuesday evenings before Tuesday Night Track (TNT) from 5/26-8/4.
• There will be a $25 registration fee and the club will offer a FCRC singlet for those who register (you must be registered by June 1st to be guaranteed a singlet).
• We recommend kids aim to run the Rainbow Run and/or FireKracker 5K as practice races, with Mountain Ave Mile being the target race.
• Space is limited, so please register as soon as possible.
Schedule:
• 5:00pm - 5:10pm: Check-in and warmup as group
• 5:10pm - 5:20pm: Core/Stretching and brief running insight of the week (sleep, activity, fueling, peers, etc)
• 5:20pm - 5:40pm: TNT-style interval session
• 5:40pm - 5:45pm: Cool down
This will generally take place at Fort Collins High School, but you will be updated if the location changes.
