From the Organizer

STOP — READ BEFORE CREATING ANY TEAM
All Tandem and Relay Teams must follow these rules when creating teams. If you do not use the correct format, the system will merge teams or assign athletes incorrectly. REMINDER: this event limits athletes to serving on TWO Tandem Teams and TWO Relay Teams.

REQUIRED TEAM NAME FORMAT
Use forward slashes / exactly as shown.
When creating your team name please use the following examples:

Hybrid Teams
Team Name / Run Day / Run #
Example of how name should be entered: World Champs / Wednesday / Run 1

Fire Department Teams
Team Name / Run Day / Run # / Team ID
Example of how name should be entered: Smithfield Fire Department / Monday / Run 1 / Team A

IF YOUR TEAM RUNS MORE THAN ONCE
You must create a separate team for each run. This prevents the registration system from merging your teams or showing “team already full.”

SECOND RUN ON THE SAME DAY
Create a new team using the same team name, same day, but change to Run 2.
Example: World Champs / Wednesday / Run 2

SECOND RUN ON A DIFFERENT DAY
Create a new team using the same team name, but change to the new day and Run 1.
Example: World Champs / Thursday / Run 1
Note: although this is your teams second run, you will enter Run 1 because it's on a different day.

TERMINOLOGY (Read Carefully)
Team Name:
Fire Department Teams: your full legal department name
Hybrid Teams: any professional, non‑offensive name
Run Day: The day of the week your run takes place (Monday, Tuesday, etc.)
Run #:
Run 1 = your team’s first run that day
Run 2 = your team’s second run that same day
Team ID (Fire Department Teams only:) A unique identifier when your department has more than one team in the same subcategory. Examples: Team A, Team 1, Team Blue
