The Elkmont Athletic Club Red Devil 5K

Join us for the third running of the Elkmont Red Devil 5K!

 This fun and exciting race is set in the heart of Elkmont, Alabama! This annual event brings together runners, walkers, and families for a scenic, fast-paced 5K through the charming streets of Elkmont, all while supporting local schools and community initiatives.

The Elkmont Red Devil 5K course offers a unique blend of rural beauty and small-town charm, winding through the historic downtown area and surrounding landscapes, with stunning views of rolling hills and open fields. Whether you're a seasoned runner or just looking for a fun way to get active, this race is perfect for everyone.

Runners and walkers will enjoy a festive atmosphere, with local vendors, cheering spectators, and Red Devil pride on full display. Don’t miss out on the post-race celebration with awards for top finishers, refreshments, and entertainment. Plus, participants receive a special race shirt and medal to commemorate the day!

This year, we will be offering discounted rates for participating in our races.

We have the"Red Devil 5k" in August, the "Holiday Hustle 10k," and the "Hound Dog Half Marathon." If you are looking to run the HDH in 2027, participating in the RD5k and the HH10k will give you $10.00 off the HDH sign-up. 

We are also doing a "Triple Crown Winner"; whoever has the fastest overall time for ALL THREE RACES will receive the "TRIdent Trophy."
