The 26th Anniversary Get Lit still offers the fire pits, s’more, marshmallows and hot cocoa. The trolley will run from 4:30 to 6:30pm for all participants to enjoy the lighted displays.
Cost for the Get Lit is $20 and will include a 26th Anniversary long sleeved Get Lit T-Shirt to the first 175 pre-registered participants. A limited number of shirts maybe available on New Year’s Day. Bib numbers, bonfire treats and Trolley Rides will be available to all participants.
New this year, at 4:00pm is an organized, group start, unofficially timed one-mile fun run/walk with lighted medallions to the first 175 finishers. Participation in the run/walk is NOT mandatory to participate in the Get Lit. No dogs allowed and everyone must remain in the designated areas only.
Packet Pick-Up, fire pits and bonfire treats will begin at 3:00pm. Pre-registered Packet Pickup will be in the Fondulac golf course clubhouse. Walk-in registration on January 1st will be at the ticket booth to the Winter Wonderland.
The run/walk course through the Winter Wonderland will open at 3:00pm to 3:55pm for those wanting to warm up for the run or walk through the park. 4:00pm will be the official start of the organized fun run/walk. Only fun run/walk participants will be allowed on the course at 4:00pm. The one-mile course through the Winter Wonderland will close to Get Lit participants at 4:55pm. All Get Lit participants have to be off the course because the Winter Wonderland will open for vehicular traffic at 5:00pm.
