The Waterfront Foundation is excited to announce its first annual 5K fundraiser, The Waterfront 5K Run & Walk, taking place on Saturday, August 8, 2026, at Wright Park in Dunkirk, NY. This community event helps The Waterfront Foundation continue its work to strengthen our community by creating opportunities for wellness, connection, and a healthier future for everyone.
Registration for the 5K will begin at 8:00 a.m., with the race starting at 9:00 a.m.
In addition to the 5K, families can also enjoy a Baby Crawl event during registration from 8:30 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. Participants will have the opportunity to register for the Baby Crawl as part of the morning’s activities. Dogs are welcome to join the fun and may participate while following Wright Park’s park rules and guidelines for pets.
