From the Organizer
On June 3, join Kidney Donor Athletes for a virtual celebration of Global Running Day and move with purpose alongside a community of donors, recipients, dialysis warriors, caregivers, families, and supporters from around the world.
Can’t participate on June 3? No problem. Complete your miles anytime between June 3 and June 10 from wherever you are.
Run, walk, hike, treadmill, bike, or move in any way that feels right for you. Whether you complete 1 mile or 100, every mile matters.
This is more than a run.
It is a movement built on resilience, second chances, and the belief that life after organ donation can still include adventure, endurance, strength, and community.
Your participation helps support Kidney Donor Athletes (KDA), a nonprofit organization dedicated to inspiring and connecting the organ donation community through athletic achievement and advocacy. Through programs like First Event Back scholarships and Hero Kits, KDA empowers living donors to return to movement and helps demonstrate what is possible after donation and transplant.
From first 5Ks to marathons, mountain summits, triathlons, and everyday victories, KDA exists to prove that organ donation is not the end of the story - it is often the beginning of something extraordinary.
Move where you are.
Move at your pace.
Move for someone you love.
Move for the thousands still waiting for a second chance.
