From the Organizer
Every year, Laps for Luis brings our community together to run, walk, remember, and raise awareness for mental health and suicide prevention. Created in loving memory of Luis, who passed away by suicide on December 25, 2021, this annual 5K Race and Lap for Life Walk is a way to honor his life while supporting organizations in our community. Proceeds are donated to local organizations that provide mental health and suicide prevention programs/resources. We are not mental health professionals — we are family, friends, and volunteers with a heart to remember Luis, create awareness, and help support the organizations doing this important work.
