Countdown to the Cup 5K

Celebrate the countdown to the world’s biggest sporting event with the North Texas FIFA World Cup Organizing Committee at a high-energy, family-friendly 5K! Whether you’re a seasoned runner, casual walker, or just in it for the fun, this event brings together athletes, families, and fans from across North Texas for an unforgettable day of movement, community, and celebration.

Two Ways to Participate:

LIVE 5K Experience (In Person)
Be part of the action on race day with an electric, on-site atmosphere.

VIRTUAL 5K Experience
Participate from anywhere, on your own time, while still being part of the celebration.

What’s Included with your Registration:

All Participants Receive:

• Official race shirt
• Finisher medal
• Entry into either the LIVE or VIRTUAL 5K 

LIVE Event Participants Also Receive:

• Chip-timed race results
• Commemorative race bib 

VIRTUAL Event Participants Also Receive:

• Virtual race bib
• Ability to submit race times via RunSignUp
• Race shirt and medal are mailed directly to you

• Adults (Ages 13+): $60
• Youth (Ages 12 & Under): $30

• Friday, May 29, 2026, 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Flying Saucer at Cypress Waters, 3111 Olympus Boulevard, Dallas, TX 75019

Important Information:

• No race day registration or packet pickup
• All participants must register online in advance
• Packet pickup must be completed prior to race day
• Full pickup schedule will be shared with registered participants  

 LIVE Event Schedule:

• 7:30 AM – Doors Open
• 8:00 AM – Welcome Announcements
• 8:25 AM – Call to Start Line
• 8:30 AM – 5K Begins
• 9:45 AM – Awards Ceremony
• 11:00 AM – Event Concludes
