From the Organizer
On January 2nd, 2026, Julius Justin Burns, lost his battle to addiction.
Justin was 45 years old at the time of his death.
He now is at rest, waiting on The arrival of Jesus.
As his sister, I want to bring dignity to his memory and for those who share or shared struggles with addiction or any chains that bound us. Running became my therapy a couple of years prior to Justin’s death and helped me through some very difficult circumstances.
I hope you join me in a safe space, with no judgments, to bring awareness, dignity, compassion, and respect to an ongoing struggle that millions suffer from and remember those we’ve lost to addiction.
Come run walk, or simply be there to watch people cross the finish line.
