🎨 Citizens EMS “Don’t Run With Scissors” Color Fun Run
Celebrating 50 Years of Service | Supporting Community Resilience
Join us for a vibrant, family-friendly event as Citizens EMS celebrates 50 years of dedicated service with our annual “Don’t Run With Scissors” Color Fun Run! This exciting day brings together fun, fitness, and community support—all while raising funds for critical emergency services and our First Responder Resiliency Program.
Whether you run, walk, or stroll, this event is for all ages and fitness levels. Come dressed in your favorite superhero gear and get ready to be showered in color while supporting a meaningful cause.
In addition to the run, we’ll be hosting a Rainbow Room Essential Drive, in partnership with the Callahan County Child Welfare Board, collecting new, unused items to support children and families in crisis throughout our community.

Founded in 1976, Citizens EMS is a nonprofit ambulance service proudly serving over 700 square miles of Callahan County. As the only immediate access to emergency medical care in many areas without a local hospital, we are committed to providing lifesaving services, education, and outreach to our community.
