Lake Louisa State Park stands apart as one of Florida’s premier trail running destinations. With its rare elevation changes, diverse terrain, and quiet natural beauty, this course invites runners to experience something different—something more immersive.
The route blends flowing trails, gentle climbs, grass, packed dirt and the occasional stretch of classic Florida sugar sand—adding just the right amount of challenge to keep things interesting. It’s a course that rewards effort, encourages exploration, and leaves a lasting impression long after the finish line.

Aid stations are placed throughout the course to keep runners fueled and supported. Expect a mix of volunteer-supported and self-serve stations depending on location and distance.
The course is clearly marked with signage to ensure a smooth race experience.
All races are professionally chip timed.

Awards are presented to overall and age group winners across all distances.
Run Club Competition
Bring your team and compete using cross-country scoring. Awards are given to the fastest team across each distance, along with the Get Up & Go Award for the largest team.
Civil Servant Competition
We proudly recognize those who serve our communities. Civil servant teams (including law enforcement, fire, EMS, military, and educators) can compete in each distance, with the 10K serving as the race for the coveted Eagle.

Parking fees go directly to Lake Louisa State Park.
Parking passes are single day use only and must be purchased online the morning of the race. You may also use or purchase an annual Florida State Park Pass. Runners should follow park guidelines and arrive early to allow time for entry.
