3 separate races, 3 running disciplines
2 hours to complete your challenge
1 unique day at 1 venue featuring 1 Track Mile, 1 X-Country Mile, and 1 Road Mile.
TXR's innovative format offers the best of 3 styles of running competition and engagement:
For serious competitors, challenge yourself to 3 running disciplines in 1 day while strategizing your race order and recovery time. Our unique cumulative format will give you new PR goals to chase through the years.
For the adventurers, if you've never tried cross-country or haven't been on a track since high school, this is the welcoming opportunity you've been waiting for. A short distance on all 3 surfaces and a generous finish cutoff invite you to get familiar and comfortable with all aspects of running.
The TXR Mile Challenge welcomes all levels of runners from the elite to just getting started. Our unique event format offers the distinctive opportunity to run three surfaces - track, grass, and pavement - within the same venue. Challengers will take on three separate races - each one mile - each timed separately. Each of the three races will be started and timed separately from one another for each Challenger. Cumulative times will be used for overall scoring. All three miles must be started within the Starting Block and completed before the Finish Cutoff. Starting Block - 10 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.; Finish Cutoff - Noon
